I was injured for much of my 2014 senior season with a fractured ankle followed by a dis located shoulder. Because of these injuries I didn’t get the attention from pro ball teams I had gotten the previous couple years. I want to continue my baseball career now that I am fully healed. I still started every game since returning from both injuries but didn’t get rolling until the last month of the season when i started feeling back to normal. This is where I hit over .350. I credit this to hard work and dedication. I hit .320 my sophomore year and Corban University starting in 49 of the 52 games in centerfield. My Junior year I was pitched to more carefully and only hit .268 but walked 29 times while only striking out 14. My junior year I played all 3 outfield positions to accommodate the team. I missed almost 20 games my senior year due to injuries but still managed to walk 22 times in under 30 games. I hit lead off and in the 2 hole throughout my college and high school career. I feel my ability to get on base as well as working counts can help a club in need of a smart player at the top of the lineup. My speed is also a factor and am a smart and aggressive base runner with plus speed. I also have catching experience, as I have caught all through high school and started my college career as a catcher. I was moved to the outfield my freshman year at Saddleback College because of my speed. I also am interested in furthering baseball in foreign countries. I enjoy teaching the game and would like to do my part in helping it grow abroad. If you have any questions please email me Contact me if you are interested in getting a hold of my head coach Jeff McKay (Corban University/ Baseball Northwest) who can confirm these statements and also give you an assessment of my strengths.
